To A Rhythm We Will Never Know
In July 2021 I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. On one of many walks with my partner we visited Blacktoft Sands RSPB where I noticed the reeds and grasses swaying in the wind. They made me think about the forces that sway and sometimes sweep through us; forces that we cannot predict and that move to a rhythm we will never truly know. I have continued to make images of this unknown rhythm through the grasses of St Aidans RSPB , Fairburn Ings RSPB and Cors Caron Nature Reserve.
